Melcom renovates 37 maternity ward

The Melcom Care Foundation, the Charity division of the Melcom Group of Companies has done renovation works such as` painting, lighting, and improvement in sanitary wares, plumbing and fans to upgrade the standard care of the maternity ward of the 37 military hospital.

The Director of Communications, Melcom Group Of Companies, Mr. Godwin Avenorgbo said the renovation works which was worth GH¢30,000 would help improve maternal care and bring relief effort to mothers.

In addition he said, the renovation works was part of their contribution to upgrade the maternity ward and also to give the hospital a new look.

Godwin mentioned that the company in the last quarter of 2013 donated an ambulance worth GH¢33,000 to the hospital and planted a charismas tree at the children’s block ` in the Christmas season.

The Commanding Officer, Col. Samuel Adjei appreciated the efforts of MelcomGroup of Companies and received the facility on behalf the 37 Military hospital, and the Ghana Armed Forces.
