Media urged to give constructive criticism on government policies

Nkawkaw (E/R), May 27, GNA – The Kwahu West Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Alex Obeng Somoah, on Wednesday urged the media to give constructive criticism and suggestions on government policies and programmes to ensure the success of the country’s democratic process. He said as the fourth estate of the realm, the media were a major stakeholder in the country’s democratic dispensation and should therefore educate the public on government’s developmental policies. Mr Somuah made the call at his first encounter with journalists at Nkawkaw. He urged media personnel to call at the offices of public officials to seek clarifications before going public.
