MD of ECG begins terminal leave

Accra, March 8, GNA – The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), announced on Tuesday that, the tenure of office of its Managing Director, Mr Cephas Gakpo, would end on March 31 March 2011.

A statement issued by the Public Relations Division of the Company said Mr Gakpo was given a year’s contract on April 1, 2010 after he attained the compulsory retirement age of 60.

“As part of his contract, Mr Gakpo began his terminal leave on March 1 2011,” the statement said.
