Marriage counsellor suspended over alleged sexual harassment

The Church of Pentecost has suspended a senior marriage counsellor at the Dekyemso-Yenyawoso branch in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region for making sexual advances at the wife-to-be of a couple he was counselling, StarrFMonline.com has gathered.

According to sources, the married Counsellor and Elder, Mr Osei Baffour, has been harassing the lady with seductive text messages and calls after counselling sessions.

Some members of the church who confirmed the incident to StarrFMonline.com on condition of anonymity said the church launched an investigation into the matter after the lady who was apparently infuriated by the advances reported the incident to the leadership of the church.

Baffour who is also the presiding elder of the church, reportedly apologised openly before the congregation before commencing his suspension last Sunday, August 24, 2014.
