March 6 and March 8 declared public holidays

Accra, March 3, GNA – The Ministry of the Interior announced on Wednesday that Saturday, March 6 is a statutory public holiday and should be observed as such.

A statement signed by Mr Martin Amidu, Minister of the Interior, said because March 6 falls on Saturday, President John Evans Atta Mills has by Executive Instrument declared Monday, March 8 as a public holiday and it should be observed as such.
