Management of Bosomtwe Rural Bank assists communities with building materials

Kumasi, Jan. 04, GNA – Management of Bosomtwe Rural Bank with its headquarters at Kuntanase last year, assisted some communities within its catchment area with building materials for infrastructure development. The items estimated at over 200 million cedis were roofing sheets, bags of cement, timber and nails. Some of the beneficiary communities are; Trede, Morontuo, Atwima-Kwanwoma, Kuntanase, Beposo and Jachie.

Mr J.E.K. Mainu, Human Resource and Administrative Manager of the bank, who announced this during the presentation of 50 bags of cement to Kyirapatre Junior Secondary School to rehabilitate their school at Kyirapatre in the Kumasi metropolis on Thursday. He said the donations were part of their social responsibility and urged the staff and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the school to ensure that the item were well utilised to enhance quality teaching and learning. Mr Robert Asante, Headmaster of the school, expressed appreciation to the bank for their support and called on teachers and communities to patronise the bank to enable it provide more assistance to communities within its catchment area.
