A 47-year-old man has been shot dead by unknown assailants at Nkonya-Ahenkro in the Volta region
The victim, identified as Peter Addo was shot in his farm Wednesday morning.
The deceased is believed to be a security officer at the Biakoye District Education Directorate at Nkonya-Ahenkro.
Police in the area have gone for the body from the farm and investigations have begun into the incident, Starr News’ Lambert Atsivor has reported.
It is unclear if this latest shooting is in connection with the protracted Nkonya-Alavanyo land dispute.
