Man stabbed to death over GHC45

Kwaku Gyasi, a trader believed to be in his mid -twenties met his untimely death Thursday morning after he was stabbed by a fellow trader at Adum, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti region.

Narrating the incident to starrfmonline.com, a local reporter in Kumasi, Isaac Anning said the culprit, Eric, had gone to demand GHC45, owed him by the deceased but suddenly, without provocation, Eric pulled a knife from his face towel and stabbed Gyasi three times in his chest, leading to his death.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue, and the culprit has been placed in custody at the Kumasi Central Police station. Investigation has commenced into the incident.
