Man fined for stealing articulator fuel tank covers

Tema, Aug 11, GNA — A driver’s mate, who stole five pieces of articulator truck fuel covers, valued at 200,000 cedis from the Burkina Faso Vehicles Transit Shed, at the Tema Harbour has been fined 1.5 million cedis by the Tema Circuit Court ‘A’.

Salam Anitdu pleaded guilty, and will go to prison for two years in default.

Police Inspector Adolphus Otchere, told the Court that on July 20, this year, Security personnel on night duty at the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), saw the accused person removing the covers and effected his arrest.
