A 34-year-old man, Yaw Baah of Adasawase, has been arrested by the police for attempting to rape a 42-year-old woman as punishment for allowing her son to befriend his daughter.
Police said Baah attacked the victim in her kitchen on July 14 whilst she was cooking in an attempt to rape her.
The suspect tore the underwear of the victim but did not succeed in raping her
According to the police, when Baah was arrested, he told the police that his action was to punish the victim for allowing her 13-year-old son to befriend his 14-year-old daughter.
