Bekwai (Ash), Sept 2, GNA- The government has been urged to make good use of National Service Personnel because they are well organised youth group in the country.
Mr Henry Mensah, the Amansie East District Co-ordinator of the National Service Scheme, who was speaking at the celebration of this year’s National Service Week, said the service personnel, had contributed a lot to the development of the country in its inception in 1973.
He appealed to the District Assembly to provide accommodation for the personnel who are posted to the district.
Mr Sarfo Kantanka, the Deputy District Co-ordinating Director, praised the personnel for their immense contribution to the nation. He said the scheme has contributed a lot to help the district and advised the personnel not to despair in their struggle for employment after completing the service.
