Mahama is highly competent, internationally acclaimed -Malor

The Senior Communications Adviser to the President, Ben Dotse Malor, has expressed great concern about the seeming dwindling public confidence in President John Dramani Mahama’s capacity and intelligence to rule the country and better the lot of Ghanaians.

He expressed these sentiments in an interview with Kumasi-based Ultimate Radio while taking strong reservations to the cynicism with which some recent decisions taken by the President, particularly concerning the latest reshuffle of regional ministers.

He described it as a sad development and an insult to the intelligence and foresight of the President stating that “President John Dramani Mahama is a highly competent but under-rated and under-stated individual. You get closer to him (President) and you would have in all honesty and sincerity to admire his depth of knowledge of issues.”

Mr. Dotse Malor said it was as if the country was given impetus to the Biblical quote, a prophet is not without honor except in his own home.

Buttressing his point, he said “I have seen leaders wanting to associate with President Mahama because of the brilliance he shows effortlessly when he is put in positions internationally.”

He indicated he had even come across “ministers who expressed the desire more or less, they wished he(John Mahama) could be the president of their nation.”

He opined that the sheer lack of appreciation of what treasure of an internationally acclaimed President Ghanaians had been privileged to have, had fed into a grand pessimism towards achieving great successes for the future generation of the country.

Challenging the nation to show some confidence in President Mahama, Mr. Dotse Malor advised “if you are a Ghanaian and you watch how our President is viewed outside, your sense of pride and fame in the future of Ghana would be brighter”.
