LIVESTREAMING: Minority in Parliament reacts to President’s State of Nation address

Minority in Parliament are today registering their displeasure at what they describe as half-truths in President Akufo-Addo’s State of the Nation Address delivered Tuesday February 21.

The address highlighted the current state of the economy as inherited from the previous NDC government. According to President Akufo-Addo, the NDC left behind an ailing economy which the current administration will have to deal with considering the huge debts the country incurred over the years.

While the Majority in Parliament applauded the President for presenting the true state of the nation, the minority disagreed saying that the President failed to acknowledge the entire truth but chose to dwell solely on the negative aspects.

Minority Leader Haruna Iddrissu briefed pressmen on the Minority’s version of the State of the Nation Address in parliament.
