Kumasi, Feb. 21, GNA – Reverend James K. Awuni, Northern Outreach Programme (NOP) Co-ordinator of Asante Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has called on Christians to uphold their principles in society.
“As Christians we should uphold the glory and dignity of Jesus Christ and practice his teachings to save mankind, ” he added. Rev. Awuni was delivering a sermon on the theme, “In all things, Listen to Christ” at the Transfiguration Day celebration at Peyer Memorial Presbyterian Church at Bantama in Kumasi.
He said Jesus Christ fulfilled prophecies with the transfiguration and his glory for mankind.
Rev. Awuni urged Christians to critically examine issues about Jesus Christ and not be in haste to seek advice and guidance from other sources.
