Lawyer Adwoa Safo retains Dome-Kwabenya seat

The NPP Member of Parliament for Dome/Kwabenya constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo, polled 63, 488 to retain his seat.

She managed to floor the NDC contender, Mr Nurudeen Mohammed in what can be describe as a keenly contested parliamentary election.

However, the lawmaker in the 2012 parliamentary election, had 63,373, representing 63.75% of the total valid votes cast whilst Sophia Karen Ackuaku of the NDC amassed 35,366 votes, representing 35.58% of the total valid cast.
