Latex Foam donates iron barriers to police and CEPS

Techiman (B/A), March 1, GNA- The Brong Ahafo Regional branch of Latex Foam Limited at the weekend presented two iron barriers valued at 30 million cedis to the Customs and Police posts at Hansua and Tuobodom respectively in Techiman Municipality.

Making the presentation on behalf of the company at Techiman, Mr. Unas Owusu, Managing Director of UNUASCO Company Limited, dealers in Latex Foam products, said the gesture was in response to an appeal by the security services for proper barriers to help check the activities of smugglers.

He called on the general public to assist the security services to help combat crime and gave assurance that the company would continue to equip the various check points in efforts to clamp down on criminal activities and smuggling.

Mr. A. Wallid, Managing Director of the Kumasi factory of the company disclosed that the company had spent more than 450 million cedis towards the project.
