Later Day Saints assist Osenase Orphanage

Osenase (E/R), April 12, GNA – The Relief Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints on Saturday presented items worth millions of cedis to the Osenase Orphanage in the West Akim District. The items included 40 students mattresses, pillows, pillowcases, bed sheets, blankets and plastic buckets.

The President of the Asamankese Relief Society of the Church, Ms Erica Boateng, who presented the items, said the gesture was part of the 163rd anniversary celebration of the Society.

The Welfare Manager of the Orphanage, Mr Humphrey Patterson, praised the church for the kind gesture and called on others to emulate the Church.

There are 33 orphans in the Orphanage. Eleven of them are girls. April 12, 05
