Lady Julia opens business and computer center

Tepa (Ash), July 31, GNA- Lady Julia Osei Tutu, wife of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, on Commissioned a multi-million Computer and Business Centre at Tepa in the Ahafo-Ano North District of Ashanti. The 347 million-cedis Centre, which is equipped with 14 computers, was set up by the Tepa Saint Mary’s Catholic Parish to train Junior Secondary School (JSS) graduates in the district.

Lady Julia praised the Catholic Church for its immense contribution to education, health, water and other social services in the country and urged the church to keep it up.

She promised the Centre two ceiling fans to make the room comfortable for users and ensure a longer life span for the equipment. The Reverend Father Michael Appau, the Parish Priest, appealed to the youth in the district to take advantage of the centre and acquire computer skills, which he said, was very important in this era of information technology.
