Kwasi Sibo Earns Late Black Stars Call-Up Ahead Of Mali Clash

Midfielder Kwasi Sibo has received a late call-up to the Black Stars as Ghana prepare for their crucial World Cup qualifier against Mali on Monday.

The invitation comes just a day after Ghana were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by Chad in N’Djamena, a result that has intensified the pressure on Otto Addo’s side.

Sibo, who plies his trade in Europe, is expected to join camp in Accra over the weekend and provide fresh options in midfield. His inclusion is seen as a timely boost as the Black Stars look to bounce back and reignite their qualification hopes.

Ghana will host Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 8, with fans hopeful that the team can deliver a stronger performance and secure all three points.
