Former Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has backed Kwasi Sibo to make his mark with the national team, describing him as a “very solid player with a lot of promise.”
Speaking to Graphic Sports, Badu praised the young midfielder’s calmness on the ball, passing range, and discipline, noting that his qualities are well-suited to the demands of modern football.
“Honestly, he can’t match the power and energy I brought to the team in my time, but he has qualities that suit the modern game,” Badu said. “With the right guidance, he can become a big name for the Black Stars.”
Badu, who was part of Ghana’s squad at multiple Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and the 2014 World Cup, believes Sibo has the foundation to develop into a key figure for the national side in the years ahead.
