Kwahumahene rains curses on Mahama’s detractors

Acting Kwahumanhene, Nana Asiedu Agyemang III has rained curses on detractors of President John Dramani Mahama, ahead of the 2016 general elections.

The Chief who has openly declared his unflinching support for the President has asked the 77 powerful gods of the area, to protect him as he embarks on his campaigns and also deal ruthlessly with all those who will work against his (President’s) interest.

He nonetheless also asked for blessings for those who wished President John Mahama well.

Nana Asiedu Agyemang III made the comments during a courtesy call on him as part of the President’s “Accounting to the People tour” in the Eastern region.

His statements have come as no surprise to many political watchers as it has been the tradition during electioneering campaigns that chiefs fall over themselves singing praises of the sitting President in order to get into his good books to ensure that their towns are developed.

According to Nana Asiedu Agyemang III, given the good works the President has done for the people of Kwahuman and the entire country, he deserves to be given another four year term.

It is our prayers that because of your love for the country and love for the people of Okwahuman you should get another four years, he said in Akan.
