Kwabena Manu“Pancho” Files

Kwabena Manu and three other contestants have filed their NPP nominations for the Nsuta/Kwamang/Beposo constituency parliamentary seat. The rest are the incumbent Kwame Osei Prempeh, Kwame Asafo Adjei and one Mr. Brefo.
Speaking to this reporter, Kwabena Manu stated that he picked up his nomination forms on 3rd March and submitted them on 5th March. He was confident he had satisfied all the requirements which were spelled out in the guidelines. When asked if he was concerned about the vetting procedure, he stated that he saw the vetting as a procedural matter and he was not worried in any way and was positive about getting approved by the NPPvetting committee.
“I was vetted and also contested in 2004. I am not new to this. At the moment, I am awaiting the vetting and the subsequent primary dates. I think I qualify above and beyond the guidelines set forth in the nominations”Kwabena Manu remarked .
When asked about the other contestants, he stated in a very calm voice thathe could not speak on their behalf and that none of them had appointed him as their spokesperson.
