Kumasi: Two kids burnt to death in tanker explosion

Two children have been burnt to death in a tanker explosion at Kokode a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti region.

The explosion occurred Sunday evening while the tanker was discharging fuel at a filling station.

Four vehicles and several stores were also destroyed by the blaze.

Many other people reportedly sustained severe degrees of injuries.

Speaking to Starr News a cousin of the deceased said the children were sleeping in a nearby structure when the fire entered their room and consumed them.
