Kumasi court road

A TINY ROAD just in front of the Kumasi High Court building is in a deplorable state, DAILY GUIDE has observed.

The approximately 50-meter road is full of deep potholes which makes driving almost impossible for people who visit the court with cars including lawyers and judges.

Strangely, the deep gullies on the road are always filled with dirty water whether it is raining or not.

The unfortunate part of the situation is that cars which ply the road usually end up splashing the dirty water on pedestrians.

Ironically, the road had been left unattended by authorities concerned to the chagrin of people who visit the Kumasi High Court.

Most of the people who spoke to DAILY GUIDE on anonymity wondered why nobody seemed to care about the unfortunate situation.

They said there have been instances where some officials of the court were forced to go home and change their clothes after a car had splashed the dirty water on them.

According to them, considering the high personalities that work at the place including lawyers and judges, they were at a loss as to why the authorities concerned had turned a blind eye on the dilapidated road.

They therefore passionately appealed to the city authorities to quickly dispatch men to repair the bad road in front of the High Court to help enhance the work of the judiciary in the city.
