Kufuor attends Eyadema’s inauguration

President John Agyekum Kufuor left Accra on Friday for Lome, Togo, to attend the inaugural ceremony of President Gnassingbe Eyadema, who has been re-elected for another five-term term.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, former Head of State of Nigeria and Dr Mohamed Ibn Chambas, Executive Secretary of ECOWAS accompanied President Kufuor, who went in his capacity as Chairman of ECOWAS.

The Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama and some Ministers of State saw off President Kufuor.
