Kofisah Chief appeals for help

Nana Abegya III, Chief of Kofisah near Nsawam in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality, has appealed to the Ministry of Education to facilitate the roofing of a kindergarten school building in the town.

Nana Abegya made the appeal through the Ghana News Agency at Kofisah during the Akwasidae festival by the chiefs and people of the town.

Nana said he donated 20 bags of cement on the project which was undertaken by the people through communal labour and contributions.

Nana Abegya said the children are taking classes under trees and in church buildings and any time it rains, classes’ close, which does not ensure better teaching and learning.

Nana Abegya also asked the Ministry to inaugurate the Abundant Health Centre built by the former President Kufuor’s regime, which would benefit communities like Kofisah, Sumkrom, Newtown, Akwau and Yaw Densu.
