Kofi Jumah Dares Randy Abbey; are you still NPP or not?

It is said that “it’s better to have a principled friend than a fair weather one”.

This, according to a New Patriotic Party (NPP) former Member of Parliament (MP) for Asokwa, Mr. Maxwell Kofi Jumah, is where President John Dramani Mahama finds himself now, regarding some of his close friends.

Speaking on “Pampaso” yesterday afternoon, Mr. Jumah dared the host of Metro TV’s Good morning Ghana, Randy Abbey, to state whether he is still a member of the NPP or not.

Readers would recall that when the late President John Atta Mills was in office with John Mahama as his Vice, Randy Abbey was on Peace FM every Friday and on his programme on Metro TV hitting hard at President Mills and his government.

He took every available opportunity to attack the late President Mills and his government. Randy, a known associate of the John’s family and brothers’, upon the election of President Mahama, abruptly, stopped going to Peace FM, and has since not been critical on his Metro TV programme.

It is against this background that Mr. Kofi Jumah advises President Mahama to be wary of those he is associating himself with now, in order not to end up just as those who were then close to ex-President Kufuor, but let him down.
