The guesthouse comprises 28 rooms, a conference hall, restaurant, kitchen, laundry, drinking bar and a car park.

Commissioning the project in Kumasi on Friday, Professor Kwesi Andam, Vice Chancellor of KNUST, commended the School of Engineering for its initiative and foresight in constructing the guesthouse. Professor E.A. Jackson, Dean of the School of Engineering, said the building of the facility would assist the school to cut down the cost on accommodating its visitors.

“The school receives many visitors and friends from local and from abroad and the only prudent step to reduce expenditure on their accommodation is to have our own guesthouse”.
