Knight of Marshall headquarters dedicated

Sekondi, Sept. 14, GNA – Peter Cardinal Appiah Turkson, the Archbishop of Cape Coast, has appealed to Christians to strive to be each other’s keeper and champion virtues of peace, unity and honesty. Cardinal Appiah Turkson said this when he dedicated the Knights of Marshall headquarters (Marshallan Centre) at Sekondi on Thursday. The centre is the first of its kind in the country and would host national prayer and other activities of the Knight of Marshall, a fraternity within the Catholic Church.

Cardinal Appiah Turkson said the idea to form the Knights of Marshall in 1925 was to keep members of the church in one society and expressed the hope that the facilities would be used to win more souls for Christ. Professor Dr. Dr. Sir Wireko Brobby, the Supreme Knight Brother, expressed gratitude to members who contributed to the facility that began eight years ago.
