The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketia, has condemned the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, for his utterances in the media about activities of the vigilante group Delta Force.
Speaking on our news and current affairs programme, ‘Behind The News’, Mr. Asiedu said the member of Parliament on a television station, made it clear that he is the master brain behind the lawless acts of the Delta Force and also dared the state to prosecute its members.
Mr. Asiedu Nketia said such pronouncements undermine the country’s democratic gains and are a threat to national security.
He said the Interior Minister, IGP, and the Ashanti Regional Police Commander should resign over what had happened.
