KEEA constituency branch of CPP declare support for Nduom

Cape Coast, May 5, GNA – The Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) constituency branch of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) on Wednesday declared its unflinching support for Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, as the party’s parliamentary candidate for the constituency.

The branch, also assured the regional and national leaderships of the party of its commitment and support for the party’s ideals and practical policies, describing it as well organised, resourced and disciplined.

These were contained in a release issued and signed by Messrs Badu Tetteh and Hagan, chairman and secretary respectively, at Cape Coast on Wednesday.

According to the release, it has never been in doubt that Dr Nduom has remained a committed leading member of the CPP, and in this regard, expressed misgivings about the national leadership’s reactions to media reports about Dr Nduom’s political stance, describing the reactions as most unfortunate.

It said there is also no doubt, that Dr Nduom, who is also the Minister of Energy, has been a most valuable member of the NPP government, and that, the citizens of KEEA are proud of his inclusion in the government and of his achievements.

It pointed out that the CPP, approved of his participation in the government, and urged it not to let the “normal propaganda associated with election years to diminish what we in our great party must rejoice in”.

The release, however, called on Dr Nduom to pay more visits to the constituency.
