Accra, Dec. 5, GNA – A family delegation of the Former Speaker of Parliament, Mr Justice Daniel Francis Annan on Tuesday called on President John Agyekum Kufuor at the Castle, Osu, to express appreciation to the Government for honouring him with a State funeral. Mr Amarkai Amartefio, a Former Youth and Sports Minister, led the delegation, which included the widow, Rossetta and the children. President Kufuor said the Government did what it believed had to be done to honour the memory of the Mr Justice Annan because he really merited it, as he served the nation very well.
President Kufuor said the Mr Justice Annan was human but on balance, the way he used his opportunities made Ghana batter off.
