June rains: Overflowing gutter wreaking havoc at Teshie

Residents of Teshie are calling on authorities to come to help them construct a proper drainage system. According to the residents anytime it rains heavily a big gutter in the area overflows its boundaries and the water makes its ways into their homes making it impossible for them to move around.

The residents told Ghanaweb.com that their properties, including cars, are always damaged when the gutter overflows.

Parents are afraid to allow their children go to school when it rains because of the danger of being swept away by the rainwater.
