Juaso Hospital receives anesthetic machine

The Juaso District Hospital has taken delivery of an GH¢87,000.00 anaesthetic machine bought by the Asante-Akim South District Assembly from its share of the 2010 District Development Fund.

Mr. De-graft Fokuo, the District Chief Executive (DCE) pledged the Assembly’s continued support to enable the hospital to improve its care for patients.

Dr Kwame Kusi Agyemang, the Medical Superintendent said the equipment could not have come at a better time since the one they were using had become dysfunctional and this led to the suspension of minor and major surgeries.

He expressed appreciation to the assembly for its intervention and said it would end the situation where cases had to be referred to other health facilities.**
