Jomoro Rural Bank Gives to GES

Half-Assini (W/R) August 10,- GNA – The Jomoro Rural Bank on Friday presented three footballs and a set of jerseys valued at about four million cedis to the Jomoro District Directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES) at a ceremony at Half-Assini.

The donation was in response to an appeal by the directorate to individuals and organizations in the district to donate towards the hosting of this year’s Western Region Inter-Schools Sports Festival scheduled for the middle August.

Mr. Francis Papachie Aquah, a member of the board of directors of the Bank presented the items on behalf of the bank and they were received by Mrs Susana Whaja, an assistant director of the GES in-charge of Finance and Administration.

Mrs. Whaja thanked the bank for their kind gesture and called on
