There are credible indications that the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) will acclaim President John Dramani Mahama as its 2012 Presidential Candidate. The decision by the National Executive Council (NEC) of the party after its meeting yesterday, Thursday 26th July 26, 2012, was necessitated by the sudden death of President John Evans Atta Mills on Tuesday. According to sources close to The Informer, the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) will go to congress on September 1st, 2012, to endorse the candidature of President John Mahama.
