NDC Director of Communications John Mahama has denied media reports which claims he is set to be confirmed as the running mate of John Atta Mills for this year?s presidential elections.
The Ghanaian Chronicle newspaper quoting unnamed sources from the Mills campaign team said Mahama would soon be out-doored as Mills? running mate.
Mills told JoyFM yesterday that he had a fair idea who was going to be his running mate but said the choice the choice was has not been mad with ethnic and religious consideration. It will be a mere coincidence if the running mate happens to come one of the three northern regions.
Previous media reports has mentioned Mahama and businessman Alhaji Kamara as the front runners but Mahama insisted to JoyNews that he has not been confirmed as Mills running mate.
”I don?t know about that” was his curt response to Joy FM.
The subject of who runs with Attah Mills has dominated media reports lately with some even suggesting that Mills and Rawlings have fallen over the matter.
