Jesus Mission Church cultivates oil palm, mangoes

Nsawam, March 9, GNA – The Jesus Mission Church branch at Panpanso-Krokese near Nsawam, has cultivated six hectares of oil palm and mango plantations.

Conducting the Ghana News Agency round the farm on Tuesday, the Resident Pastor, Francis Kwasi Aboagye, said the Church would use proceeds from the farms to complete a Kindergarten building. Pastor Aboagye said over 300 children were attending classes under trees and in the Church building. This, he said, did not promote good teaching and learning.

Nii Mankatah IV, Chief of Panpanso-Krokese, who offered land for the school building, said the project was initiated by the Church while the people offer communal labour. Nii Mankatah appealed to the Akuapem South Municipal Assembly for support to complete the project on time before the rainy season. 9 March 11
