Jastar Motors donates to Fire Service

Jastar Motors Investment, a car dealing company in the Nkoranza Municipality, has presented GH¢ 6,200 to the Brong-Ahafo Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).

The amount is to support the Command to complete an Information and Communication Centre it is constructing at the cost of GH¢ 12,000 in Sunyani.

Nana Kofi Appiah, Public Relations Officer of Jastar Motors, said the presentation was part of the company’s social responsibility programme.

He explained that the presentation followed an appeal from the GNFS last year.

Assistant Commissioner of Fire (ACFO) Kwame Larbi Apraku, Brong-Ahafo Regional Fire Commander, expressed appreciation to the donors and appealed for more support from other institutions.

He said the Command started the project last year but had become standstill due to lack of funds.
