Irate NDC youth burn party van, ransack party office

A group of irate youth of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Wulensi, in the Nanumba South District of the Northern Region have torched a party van and ransacked the party’s office.

The vandalism by the youth on Tuesday was part of protests against the president’s re-nomination of the former District Chief Executive, Alhaji Amidu Seidu.

The local district manager of the national health insurance service as well as the district coordinator of the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency allegedly led the onslaught.

The youth have vowed that they will do everything possible to make sure that the president listens to their concerns.
