Head of Vehicle Task Force at the Presidency Daasebre Kwabena Ahenkorah has alleged that some individuals at the Flagstaff House are frustrating his work.
Speaking to Kwame Tutu on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he accused an aide to Lord Commey who is the Director of Operations at the Presidency of slapping him for seizing a state vehicle from a National Democratic Congress (NDC) activist.
He said, some individuals including one Mahamudu, Ali, Adu Amankwaa and some others are part of the group frustrating his work.
Daasebre Kwabena Ahenkorah told the host that he is not allowed access to the Flagstaff House although he is the Head of Vehicle Task Force.
These individuals he alleged seizes the keys to the seized cars without any authorization.
He added, these individuals have also prevented me from presenting my report because they want to see what is in the report. He said, ‘’I am worried that we have a president who wants to fight corruption yet some individuals are frustrating that fight.
I have been doing this job for so many years so I don’t understand why some people are bent on frustrating my work.
I did this same job in the era of former president Kufour. I am not doing this because of the money but the love I have for my country.
I am a patriotic citizen and anything that will help the country develop is what inspires me,’’ he added.
