Space FM, Sunyani- The Minister of State at the Interior Ministry who doubles as the Brong-Ahafo Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman, Nana Obiri Boahen, has reminded Ghanaians that he remains the regional chairman of the NPP.
According to him, his attention has been drawn to “a misleading, false and unsubstantiated information being peddled by some faceless people that he has resigned his position as the regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party”.
He said in a letter to the national chairman of the party that, he, Nana Obiri Boahen is still holding the position of the regional chairmanship of the New Patriotic Party.
He further said, his term of office has not come to an end, neither has he also resigned his position as such.
The letter dated 22nd August 2007, was copied to the Brong-Ahafo regional Minister, constituency executives of the party, District and Municipal Chief Executives in the region.
The lawyer cautioned that, “those engaged in those impersonation should desist from such act or face the penalty for their actions”.
