I’ll restore the lost dignity of the Ga State – New “Ga Mantse”

In the raging controversy over his legitimacy as Ga Mantse, the newly installed Chief King Nii Tackie Oblie II has promised to restore the lost dignity of the Ga State.

In an exclusive interview with mynewsgh.com, he called on factions that are also laying claim to the Ga stool to rally behind him and restore the dignity of the state which is a prerequisite for development.

While stating that it is his resolve to have a peaceful reign and be a crusader for development, he observed that he cannot do everything in Isolation and will require the support of all stakeholders to achieve his vision for Ga State.

According to him, the Kingmakers of the Ga State have spoken and their decision supersedes every other and therefore behooves on aggrieved factions to join him in fashioning out measures that can develop the area which is lagging behind in terms of development.

“I am determined to restore the lost dignity of the Ga State. The rest should now rally behind me the legitimate King to ensure that my reign is successful. Restoring the dignity of the Ga State should be paramount because it is through that that we can ask for development”, he said.

On plans to bring aggrieved factions, he said “I am have been holding meetings with my cabinet and we will find ways of involving them in major decisions so that they are not left out. As I said I am for peace and that is all I seek from them. Waging war against our brothers will further destroy the very Ga State I am seeking to build with my expertise”
