“I Would Never Hide a Child” – Oheneni Adazoa Clears the Air on Pregnancy Rumours

Media personality Oheneni Adazoa has debunked social media rumours suggesting she is expecting a child, describing the claims as unfounded and misleading.

Speaking in an interview with Smart Ghana TV, the Sompa Nkomo presenter clarified that her emotional appearance on the Delay Show was misinterpreted by some viewers, sparking speculation that she was finally pregnant after years of trying to conceive.

“Some conversations are better left for Ghanaians to speculate about, but one thing is certain, I would never have a child and hide it. Never,” she firmly stated.

Oheneni’s recent interview on the Delay Show, where she tearfully opened up about her struggles with infertility, triggered a wave of commentary online, with many speculating that her emotional state was linked to a secret pregnancy. However, the broadcaster insists there is no hidden joy she is keeping from the public.

She revealed that she has undergone six In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedures over the years, each one bringing its own emotional weight and yet, so far, no child.

“It hasn’t been easy, but I still have hope,” she said, adding that her journey with infertility is far from over.

Her statement comes at a time when public curiosity about the personal lives of media personalities continues to blur the lines between empathy and intrusion. But for Oheneni, her story is not one of secrecy, but of unwavering resilience.

By addressing the rumours head-on, she not only cleared the air but also spotlighted the ongoing struggles many women face with infertility—challenges that often remain hidden behind the screen.

For now, Oheneni says she remains committed to her journey and hopeful for the future, refusing to let public speculation define her story.
