I Will Step Down For Nduom, If … Nana Arthur

The District Chief Executive (DC E) of the Komenda-Edina – Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) District Assembly, Nana Ato Arthur, says he is unfazed by the decision of Dr. Paa Kwasi Nduom, Minister of Energy, to contest the constituency’s 2004 Parliamentary seat.

He was, however, quick to add that he would step down if impressed upon to do so by the NPP National Executive Committee.

“We are all working to implement the NPP’s vision of making Ghana a better place so if they feel there is somebody better, I have no objections to it,” he stressed.

Nana Arthur made these pronouncements in an exclusive interview with the paper after Dr. Nduom had launched his all-inclusive campaign in Elmina.

The DCE is one of the two candidates who filed their nomination papers to contest the party’s parliamentary elections in the constituency.

He said “Winning the seat will be easy because we have been working very hard to provide the needs of our people who have been neglected all this while”, he states with confidence.
