I told Kotoko management about the accident – Kintampo disaster prophet

General overseer of God’s Crown Chapel, Prophet Reindolf Oduro Gyebi popularly known as Eagle Prophet claims the Asante Kotoko fatal accident happened because management of the club turned a deaf ear to a revelation he made to them.

Eagle Prophet tells Abusua FM Sports that he informed one of the management members that they should not return on the same day after their Ghana Premier League midweek matchday 22 fixture against Inter Allies on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors were beaten 1-0 by the Eleven is to One Side at the El-Wak Sports Stadium.

According to the man of God, he told the team to sleep over and return on the following day but management of the Fabulous family failed to adhere to God’s directives.

In spite of this, the team set off for Kumasi on that same Wednesday after their match against Inter Allies. Unfortunately, they bumped into a stationary vehicle at Nkawkaw resulting in a fatal accident around 9:45 pm.

The equipment officer, Mr. Asare was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Holy Family Hospital [Nkawkaw.]

Eagle Prophet who is saddened by the incident indicated the said management member he talked to has been texting him telling him to ask God for forgiveness for not listening to his word.

”I had a prophecy that something terrible was going to happen to the team on their way back to Kumasi after Wednesday’s game so I prompted a key member of the management team to inform him about the prophecy.”
