‘I have evidence NPP funded #Dumsor vigil’ – Acheamfour

An ardent activist of the opposition New Patriotic Party [NPP], Baah Acheamfour has maintained that his party funded the infamous #Dumsormuststop vigil organised by award-winning actress Yvonne Nelson.

The NPP man who first broke the news on NEAT FM was slammed for his wild allegation by his party.

But Baah Acheamfour has confirmed the allegation to host Kwesi Aboagye that – “I have evidence to prove my claims”.

Yvonne has dared anyone with evidence that she was given such amount by the opposition NPP to come out public or face her wrath – “I will sue the person”.

Nonetheless, the NPP activist insist that even though he never saw leadership of the NPP handing over the money to Yvonne physically – “here is the case that there’s a document – a memo that states that GHC 5,000 has been given to Yvonne Nelson, so it will help if Yvonne Nelson comes out to clear herself.”

“As to whether Yvonne Nelson received the money or not I can’t confirm that. But according to the memo and document I have, I can confirm that GHC5,000 has been given to her according to the memo,” he added.

NPP’s National Organizer, John Boadu, accused of giving the money to Yvonne Nelson denied the allegation on NEAT FM – “I challenge Baah Acheamfour to provide his evidence”.
