Ghana coach Otto Addo says he is unbothered by public speculation about his future, insisting he has faced doubt throughout his career and remains focused on his work with the Black Stars.
Speaking candidly when asked about ongoing conversations over whether he should remain in charge, Addo made it clear that outside opinions will not distract him.
“To be honest, I don’t care. This is my life,” he said. “As a player as well, it wasn’t like everybody believed in me from Day One. I am happy and blessed to be in this situation.”
The former Borussia Dortmund assistant coach has come under scrutiny despite leading Ghana to the brink of qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and remaining unbeaten in the qualifiers.
His calm response suggests he is taking criticism in stride and drawing strength from his journey, one in which he has often had to prove himself.
Addo’s remarks also reflect a growing confidence within the Black Stars camp as the team nears an important milestone.
While debates about his long-term future continue among fans and analysts, the coach remains focused on the present and on delivering results on the pitch.
For Otto Addo, belief in his mission matters more than public approval.
