I don’t belong to NDC – Bernard Mornah

The General Secretary of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah has dismissed rumours that he holds allegiance to the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to him, he remains a loyal and credible member of the Nkrumahist party despite the fact that they have been in opposition for several years.

Speaking to Richard Dela Sky on ‘Point Blank’ on Citi FM Monday, Mornah said : “I’m not a member of the NDC and I don’t belong to the NDC”.

He, however, noted that he has had to support the ruling party on certain policies out of his personal convictions and nothing else.

Mornah also blamed the current state of the PNC on the collective action of its members.

“Either individually or collectively, our actions have contributed to where the PNC is today.

“For instance, our youth organiser declaring support for the NPP flagbearer in 2012 was one of the bizarre things that could ever happen,” he stated.
