The Dormaa Central Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dominic Adoma Ameyaw, has vowed his commitment to exert efforts towards the completion of all pending projects within Dormaa Ahenkro that were inherited from the former NPP administration.
Regarding road construction, the MCE observed that he aspires to transform Dormaa Ahenkro into one of the most captivating towns; thus, he will ensure the completion of several vital roads, including the thoroughfare from the Total Filling Station to Atesikrom, as well as the illustrious Aboabo Roads, which have been under construction for nearly nine years.
On the completion of the Dormaa Ahenkro Tuesday Market construction and other projects initiated by the former MCE, Hon. Drissa Ouatara, under the Secondary City Support Program funded by the World Bank, Hon. Dominic Adoma Ameyaw stressed that he inherited those projects and has worked tirelessly to finalize certain sections, while continuing his diligent efforts to ensure the project’s full completion.
He dismissed assertions made by the former MCE concerning the payments for these projects, stating that the contractors have not been present on site for some time due to insufficient funds to remunerate them. However, as the current MCE, he pledged to facilitate the contractors’ return to the site, working assiduously to secure the release of their payments to settle them.
Once more, he pledged to diligently address the waterlogged entrance of the Dormaa Ahenkro Health Directorate, ensuring a temporary remedy to dispel the stagnant water in front of the facility.
He stressed his commitment to overseeing the construction and completion of a new edifice for the Dormaa Central Municipal Health Directorate within his four-year tenure as the MCE, thereby augmenting their operational efficacy and service delivery.
